The Grand Majestic, otherwise known as TGM, are an 8 piece original Funk/pop band from Brighton town! The band consists of front woman Lizzy Littlejohn, rhythm section Charlie Myers, Duncan Howlett, Andy Lynn, Dom Clare and a 3 piece brass section Damian Mclean-Brown, Ellen Campbell and Sigi Beare! They recently had the pleasure of support Carlifornia Funk legends Breakestra at Brighton's own Concorde 2 and have played other legendary venues such as Sound, Leicester Sq and The Troubadour...

Desaparecidos

Desaparecidos was a short-lived American quintet formed in 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska, fronted by Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar) and featuring Denver Dalley, now of Statistics (guitar), Landon Hedges, now of Little Brazil (bass), Ian McElroy (keyboards), and Matt Baum (drums). This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.

Rowetta is the voice on the renowned 1989 track "Reach Out", which has been sampled by many, including Black Eyed Peas (Boom Boom Pow), Cheryl Cole at the Brits on Fight For This Love, Steve Angello & Robin S (Show Me Love) and Todd Terry's Lime Life (Baby Can You Reach)
Rowetta’s vocal was also used by Steve Angello & Laidback Luke on the hit “BE”

Rowetta was the female singer with Happy Mondays for 10 years, singing on all their hits, and touring the world.
She played herself in the Michael Winterbottom film 24 Hour Party People

Bill Brewster

English DJ, writer and musical bon vivant; best known for his 2002 double-disc compilation "Praxis" and his books "How To DJ (Properly)" and "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" (with Frank Broughton). As well as running several labels - 5XO-294, Sugar Daddy Records (in New York) and Twisted United Kingdom and Forensic Records (in the UK) - he also ran the DMC New York office for two years. Bill now runs the DJ History website.

Marta Marrero (born May 18, 1969 in Whittier, California, USA), better known as Martika, is a Cuban-American pop singer. As a child she dabbled in acting making her film debut as one of the dancing orphans in the film version of "Annie". As a teen she would star as 'Gloria' on the syndicated children's variety show 'Kids Incorporated'. After outgrowing her role, Martika would turn her focus towards her first love, music.
