In their own words: After the Candyskins called it a day, Mark Cope guitarist and backing singer with the previously signed Geffen band, decided to leave his native Oxford and move out to another university town, Boston. While based here Mark choose to take some of the songs that had been bouncing round his head and record them in a alien format to the guitarist. With Electronica and computers the start of what would become Mark's first solo collection of songs called "Copey" would emerge.

Ahumado Granujo

Ahumado Granujo is a band formed in 1999 in Prague, Czech Republic, combining techno (typically used as song intros) and goregrind in the vein of old Regurgitate, Gut, Cum, Dahmer with a heavy sound of down-tuned guitars, dance rhythms, and sophisticated guttural vocal lines. They also incorporate some mental electronica styles to add a unique twist to their brutality.

They are signed to the All Around The World record label. Having released tracks since 1999, they reached #34 in the UK Singles Chart in March 2001 with "True Love Never Dies", a mash-up of "Airwave" by Rank 1 and Kylie Minogue's True Love Never Dies, with re-recorded vocals by Kelly Llorenna.

After falling into the river Tees during a stevedoring incident in 1998, Ste McGregor washed up on the fair shores of Brighton in early 1999.
With a ramshackle pile of vinyl and old calculator bits, he set about changing the music world forever. These formative years were creatively fruitful, nailing tonnes of animated promos for Midfield General (Midfielding), Lo Fidelity Allstars (Sleeping Faster) and a whole host of lousy tribute acts.

A 90s alias of Jon Carter, for his breakbeat productions as opposed to the house flavoured Junior Cartier project. Inevitably lumped in with the "big beat" movement of the time, although their album Shoot the Boss had a dark mood and heavy dub influence that defied the "cheeky party antics" ethos of the genre.
