Thine

One of the most powerful forces in the goth metal underground, Thine stepped into the spotlight in the late '90s and continued to make waves throughout the next few years. It all started in 1996 when singer Alan, guitarist Paul, and drummer Dan came together due to their love of heavy music. Putting together the rough Journey's demo later that year, a member of Black Tears Records' staff heard the record and recommended them to be signed.

Its history starts in 1985 with the brothers Pit and Yves Passarell, bass and guitar players respectively. Still teenagers, they join with the guitar player Felipe Machado, and the drum player Cassio Audi, and also Andre Matos and they record their first demo, “The Killera Sword”. 2 years later, “Soldiers of Sunrise” was released, one of the most worshiped Brazilian heavy metal albums.

Gospel of the Horns

Gospel of the Horns formed in Brisbane, Australia, in '93 and in late '94 they released their cult demo The Satanist's Dream. It gathered great responses, which in turn led to a deal with the incompetent Einstand Records to press the demo on CD. Not only was the layout incorrect, they also placed a photo of a different band in the booklet... To this day, the band urge no-one to purchase this CD as this label does not warrant your money.
