Willem Dafoe

The big WD was birthed back like this in 2000 when four good grade 10 buddies decided to play some metal. We went through some really shitty names and some really shitty eps, but finally settling on Willem Dafoe a year later. Willem Daband has remained a great hobby for its permanent lineup, usually busy with other shit but still finding time to play a couple shows a year and record some tunes. We've grown up in WD and it's grown along with us; from old Hydrahead style metalcore...

Blind To Faith

Established late 2008, Blind To Faith is a vehicle for pure, unadulterated . Stripped down to the very core and essence, Blind To Faith wears its influences on its sleeve: Discharge, Repulsion, Celtic Frost, Eyehategod, Gehenna, Darkthrone, Entombed, and Today Is The Day, to name a few. Written and recorded in less than 3 days, the 12" THE SEVEN FAT YEARS ARE OVER showcases the primitive one-track mind of it's creators. Having rid themselves from any sort of preset agenda like playing live or making friends, Blind To Faith offers its art as real as it gets: lawless, violent and pure.

Sordid

Around the end of the 1990's, in a quiet Quebec town called Gatineau, two young guitarists joined their talents and began composing grinding metal riffs. Emerging from the era of such old school bands as Metalica, Pantera and Sepultura into the darker world of Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation, they became the pillars of a band originally called Morbidity. Those two guys are named Francis Bock and Christian Villeneuve.

Hearing Cavalcade, a 5-piece from Lansing (MI), answers some age old questions. For instance: "What would it sound like if Karp grew up listening to Darkthrone?" or "What would it sound like if Jeff Walker from Carcass fronted a more-Black Sabbath obsessed version of Cursive?" These are no age-old questions of yours you say? Well...

Wormrot

Wormrot started out as a death-grind project formed by Arif (Flesh Disgorged) on vocals and Acit (Septikaemia, Hellghast) on drums. They took in Halim (Arbitrary Element, Cardiac Necropsy) to fill in the bass. Arif met an old high school friend Rasyid who had just completed his national service (2007) by a chance meeting through a mutual friend and was invited to try out on the guitars. A couple of jamming sessions followed yet they couldn't find a comfortable stride. Arif and Rasyid decided to go on their own to form a grindcore band, retaining 'Wormrot' as their band name.
