Benighted

There are multiple artists with the name Benighted: 1) Benighted is a French Brutal Death Metal/Grindcore band. They formed in 1998 in Balbigny, France. Benighted has slowly evolved from a blackened death metal sound, to a newer sound of brutal death metal. This is considered to be a fusion of several styles: combining groovy death-thrash riffs with black metal-ish sections, and various different styles of harsh vocals throughout their songs.

There is more than one band named Malevolence: 1) A Melodic deathmetal / Hardcore band from Sheffield, England.
2) A New Zealand death metal/grindcore band formed in 1992.
3) A Portuguese black/death metal band from Leiria.
4) A Canadian thrash/death metal band formed in 1990.
5) A Dutch deathcore band formed in 2006.
6) A hardcore/metal outfit from Pittsburgh, PA

Laceration

There are four bands that go by the name Laceration- three from the US and one from Australia. The ones from Illinois were Novembers Doom before being known as that, so they play a very slow style of Death Metal, appropraitely called Death Doom.
The Australian band are a melodic metal group who have been together for six years and have just released their second EP, Unwelcome Guests. A thrash band from the bay area also goes by the name "Laceration".

Rose Funeral

Rose Funeral is an American melodic deathcore band from Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Rose Funeral’s first demo, Buried Beneath the Blood, was self-recorded and self-released in March of 2006. The demo was followed quickly by the release of their EP, Crucify.Kill.Rot, in August of 2006. It was enough for them to get picked up by Siege of Amida Records, who re-released Crucify.Kill.Rot in March of 2007.

Wolfpack

There are 3 bands known as Wolfpack; 1) Wolfpack was the former name of the Swedish hardcore punk/d-beat band Wolfbrigade. Wolfpack changed their bandname to Wolfbrigade after a right wing racist community started using the name "Wolfpack"; they did not want to be associated with right wing politics. 2) Wolfpack were a 5-piece thrash/traditional metal band from Preston, UK. They released one album entitled "Total Head Removal" before changing their name to Salem (UK) and releasing a demo called "Impending Doom"

Spasm

There are two bands named Spasm. One is an industrial band on Invisible Records consisting of Mark Spybey of Dead Voices on Air, Eric Pounder of Lab Report, Martin Atkins of Pigface and Curse Mackey of Evil Mothers. Needful Things

NEEDFUL THINGS has started in ’95 with this line-up:Martin - drums, Roman - guit, Michael - vocals, Otto - bass. In ’96 Martin left the band, because he had different opinions on music style. From that time we had many problems with drummers. In the end of ’96 Radek joined us. In ’97 we recorded our first studio stuff in this line-up: Roman - guit./voc., Michael - voc., Radek - drums, Otto- bass. This stuff was release as a split tape with Czech grind core band called GENITAL GORE. The same stuff was release as a split 7”EP (ltd 315 copies) in colaboration with two labels PSYCHOTHERAPY rec.
