The Mysterons formed in 1991 in Vancouver B.C. and still perform occasionally. Their music is a blend of surf instrumental, samples and various electronica.

DREGS [1] is a Los Angeles based surf rock/dream pop/garage rock/lo-fi band. Their sound varies from oddly distorted harmonies to chuggin distorto riffs. Their music can be accessed here http://ddrreeggss.bandcamp.com/ Dregs [2] were a UK punk band. They released one single (School girls in bondage/Dregs of Humanity) in 1979.

At least 2 bands go by the name of The Break 1) The Break - New Jersey. Most bands in the world can be lumped into one category or another, they are shuffled, redefined, and in that way they begin to lose the qualities that could make them important or meaningful. The greatest bands, the most influential or memorable, are the ones who don't try to fill the role set for them, who don't pursue anything other than the desire to make music, and the need to express that art to an audience. From the start, The Break has had this aesthetic in mind.

Often tagged as garage-rock revivalists, the Fleshtones mix the fuzz-guitar and Farfisa organ sounds of that genre with rockabilly, '50s and '60s R&B, and surf into a potent retro stew the group likes to call "Super Rock." The group formed in 1976 in Queens with vocalist/keyboardist Peter Zaremba, guitarist Keith Streng, bassist Jan Marek Pukulski, and drummer Bill Milhizer and aimed to return rock and roll to the simplicity and unself-consciousness of the '50s and early-'60s. (The group was often joined on-stage and in the studio by sax player Gordon Spaeth, who passed on in 2005.
