The Growlers

Take 5 southern california guys, mix in some surf, stone, and psychadelic, throw them in a haunted mansion in west hochiminster and with a little luck, you might get a band like The Growlers. The bands name comes from lead singer, Brooks, and guitarist Moustache Matt. One day Brooks came home and Matt was takin a big growler in the outhouse and the rest is history. Watch some footage of old Wind N Sea Surf Club back in the 70's and you might get a taste of what this band's live shows are like. There are at least two bands known as The Bills:

Their music is based not only on old school, drive-in films, but also a life of crime. It is whispered that every time the intro to 'Straight From the Gutter' is played, a bum is brutally stabbed in an alleyway.

The Ghastly Ones

The Ghastly Ones are a surf rock'n'roll band from Van Nuys, California. Their music is infused with a campy Halloween sound. The band was formed in 1996, and their first album, A-Haunting We Will Go-Go, was released June 2, 1998 on Zombie-A-Go-Go Records.
