Santa Ratniece (1977) studied piano, In 1996 she finished Emils Dārziņš College of Music specializing in music theory. In 2000 she graduated J.Vitols Latvia Academy of Music in musicology and In 2002 - in composition (Romualds Kalsons composition class) In 2002 she studied in Enschede Conservatory with English composer David Rowland. In September 2002, she began Master's Degree studies in Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with Estonian composer Helena Tulve. In 2007 she received Master`s Degree in Arts.
