No Lovers are a Nottingham-based trio who bridge across genres such as ambient, shoegaze, funk whilst retaining the bite of post-punk influences. They have been going since the fall of 2008 and have only recently started gigging. Their influences, amongst many, include: Explosions in the sky, Joy Division, M83, Apparat, Port Royale, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Sigur ros. They combine soaring melodies, lush soundscapes and disco-savvy grooves.
Blouse is a band from Portland, Oregon and is comprised of members Charlie Hilton, Jacob Portrait, and Patrick Adams. Their debut LP signed to Brooklyn record label Captured Tracks was released November 1st, 2011. The trio also released "Shadow" a single on Sub Pop Records May 2011.
Small Crew is Richard Adderley and Dan Edwards (formerly of bands like The Boyfriends, The Lucas Group and Vermont), although neither is necessarily on any given Small Crew Recording. ANCIENT HISTORY: Three years have passed since “Black Oni” (Ipecac Records). Four years since “Five Suns”(Cuneiform Records). The new album by Guapo is finally here and thus concludes the recondite triptych they set out to accomplish. Flux is not uncommon here, every record taking on new musical hues and offering disparate ideas and perspectives. However an upheaval in the line-up, which of recent years has been anchored by the trio of Daniel O’Sullivan, Matthew Thompson and David Smith, triggered a change in course when Thompson left the band just prior to the release of Black Oni in 2005.

Was named one of the fifteenth promises of Mèxico by Sonorama Magazine in 2007.

Serena Maneesh (sometimes spelled Serena-Maneesh or shortened to S-M) is an alternative rockband based in Oslo, Norway. The network of musicians who each contribute to its unique sound is organized around its main protagonist and songwriter Emil Nikolaisen. Emil has previously appeared as a guitarist and songwriter in the indieband Royal, played the drums in Norwegian punk rock band Silver as well as in the retro-pop orchestra The Loch Ness Mouse. He even has a past as guitarist in the metal band Extol.
Mac DeMarco, formerly Makeout Videotape, is the anti-thesis to your stereotypical singer-songwriter. Disregarding the seriously somber moments, he replaces them with whimsical and youthful spontaneity, whilst retaining the endearing and subtle commentaries that exude his familiarity. Promptly after leaving his Edmonton garage for Vancouver he embarked on a North American tour accompanying fellow Canadians Japandroids on a grand voyage of enlightenment and alcoholic debauchery.
