FUNKSHONE

Funkshone are an original funk act from the UK created by musician, DJ and producer Mike Bandoni, Producer Nino Auricchio plus special guests. Formed in 2006 Funkshone have recorded and released four 45s, 12" and CD album 'Shining' on UK funk label ‘Skyline Recordings’. The first title ‘Purification parts 1 & 2’ has now become a deep funk classic amongst the global funk contingent. Due to the popularity of the Funkshone sound, Mike formed the band in early 2007.

Grupo Fantasma

Grupo Fantasma is an eleven-piece orchestra from Austin, Texas. Formed in 2000 from the merger of two acts, The Blue Noise Band and The Blimp, the band emerged with a sold out show at the former Empanada Parlour in Austin. The band is best known for their exuberant live shows and their recent association with Prince and his 3121 Club in Las Vegas. The band has backed Prince on numerous occasions, including his performance on the ALMA Awards in 2007, and often perform at his afterparty jam sessions. The ensemble has sold more than 20,000 albums independently.

1. A producer of breakbeat and electronic music signed to Acid Jazz.
2. A rapper. 1. Smoove has been on the scene for a while, as part of Ultragroove, Ashbrooke Allstars and producing for Rubberneck and remixing many well-known and lesser-known artists. In 1995 he created his first solo-tracks for the soundtrack to "sprung" (an extreme sports video), of which the track He won't get far was released as a single. In 2000 a cd with his old material was passed to the owner of Acid Jazz, reulting in his first release Dead Men's Shirts in 2004.

It's with immense pleasure that we present on Record Kicks the full-length album by TRIO VALORE, the new deep funk & mod jazz super group formed by: STEVE WHITE – Joined The Style Council at the age of 17, and is considered by many to be the UK`s finest drummer of his generation, playing on 15 albums with the legendary Paul Weller.
