Following the release of the self-produced “Murder from the Skies” EP in 2007, Pilot:X are set to unleash their latest offering “Dead in the Air” in January 2008. Pilot:X’s lineup was completed in 2006 and was succeeded by a year of heavy practicing and writing under the influence of such luminaries as Reuben, Oceansize and Hundred Reasons. With this under their belt they began to play a variety of gigs across the Farnborough/Camberley area.

Crowd Deterrent

here's some of the odder facts about everyopne's favorite dysfunctional hardcore band CROWD DETERRENT! - The original band name was "NEW CASTLE TRASH" when Rob started it at the age of 15
- There was a "Crowd Deterrent Dog", which was owned by ERIC COLTENBA (spelling?), who was a ofrmer singer. He would bring the dog to shows and it wore a hoodie w/ CD logo printed on the back w/ the sleeves cut off.

Lettuce

(...)It was 1992 at the Berklee School of Music, and a few high school summer session kids exploded onto the Boston jazz scene with killer chops and bottomless energy. Drawn together at the altar of funky soul, Eric Krasno, Sam Kininger, Adam Deitch, Erick Coomes, Jeff Bhasker, and Ryan Zoidis began taking over local clubs and jam nights on borrowed sound equipment. Brash and precocious, the guys always got what they needed: "Let us borrow your gear." "Let us play one more tune." "Let us crash on your couch." Thus Lettuce ("Let us...") was born, and the funky gospel found another apostle.

Guardian Alien

In Guardian Alien, electronic and otherworldly textures tessellate against a vast and empty expanse, space gorged on those tremendous beats, guitars that squeal and slice like the bass of Lightning Bolt, and actual bass that hovers like a dark and curious cloud. There are wall-covering shrieks and militaristic repetition, head-down breakdowns and tangential rips. —Grayson Currin
