Vamps

There are at least 2 bands/artists with the name Vamps. 1) VAMPS is a Japanese unit by Hyde (lead vocalist of L'Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (guitarist of Oblivion Dust, hide with Spread Beaver and Spin Aqua). HYDE and K.A.Z have been working together since HYDE's third solo album FAITH, which was released in 2006. In early spring 2008, they announced the name-change for HYDE's solo project - and officially formed a band. One of the reasons being to give more credit to K.A.Z for his work. Thus VAMPS was born.

少年ナイフ

The all-female musical band Shonen Knife is a Japanese pop punk/garage rock band, who sing songs both in Japanese and English. Among their fans are Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Redd Kross, and Sultans of Ping. They cite as their main influences 1960s girl groups and punk rock such as The Ramones. They have also performed as a Ramones tribute band under the name The Osaka Ramones. 少年ナイフ formed in Osaka, Japan in December 1981 with sisters Naoko Yamano (vocals and guitar) and Atsuko Yamano (drums) and their friend Michie Nakatani (vocals and bass).

There are at least four artists named Erika. 1) Erika De Bonis is an Italian dance singer better known for her popular song I Don't Know. Erika's first releases were under the label of Rossano Prini A&R SPY records. The young Italian artist became famous when she released the song Relations. This track jumped to No. 1 on all Italian charts in the first half of 2001. Erika released some other tracks that became very popular in dance clubs: Right or Wrong and Ditto. Producer/Composer Daisuke Asakura (浅倉大介) and Vocalist Hiroyuki Takami (貴水博之) (real name Hiroyuki Fukuda) formed access in 1992. They released three orginal albums (Fast Access, Access II, and Delicate Planet) under the record label "BMG FUNHOUSE" before disbanding in 1995. Before access, Takami appeared on Asakura's album "D-Trick" performing the songs "1000 Nen no Chigai", "Toy Box in the Morning", and "Cosmic Runaway" (which later would be known as Daisuke Asakura PRED. AXS - Cosmic Runaway).

Nana Kitade (北出菜奈, Kitade Nana) is a young Japanese Pop-Rock solo artist who is not only known for her singing and guitar-playing talents, but also for her unique blend of punk and Gothic Lolita fashion. With the success of having expressed her inner conflicts and experiences in her lyrics, she wants to now challenge herself even further by writing her own music in her future releases.
