Meic Stevens

Meic Stevens is a Welsh singer-songwriter. His psych-folk influence can be heard in such contemporary Welsh groups as Super Furry Animals and Gorky's Zygotic Mynci. Stevens was one of the first artistes to record for his country's first independent record company, the Sain label. Stevens sang mostly in his native language. His one English-language album is 1970's Outlander. Meic composes most of the lyrics and music on his albums.

James Fox

There are at least two recording artists under the name James Fox: 1. James Fox, real name James Mullett, (born April 6, 1976 in Cardiff, South Wales) is a pop music singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist. He took part in BBC's Fame Academy in 2003, coming a respectable 5th. In 2004 he represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Hold on to Our Love" which reached number 13 in the UK charts. He came 16th out of 24 finalists.

Heather Jones

Though she learnt Welsh as a second language, Cardiff-born Heather Jones has been one of the leading lights of the Welsh-language music scene since the 1970s. Her voice is crystalline and yet warm and she is at home in rockier music as in 'pure' folk.

Lustmord

Brian Williams is a British electronic musician often credited for creating the genre with albums recorded under the name Lustmord. Williams started recording as Lustmord in 1980 before joining SPK in 1982.
Lustmord has extracted field recordings made in crypts, caves, and slaughterhouses, and combined it with occasional ritualistic incantations and Tibetan horns. His treatments of acoustic phenomena encased in digitally expanded bass rumbles have a dark ambient quality.

Bob Delyn A'R Ebillion

Bob Delyn a'r Ebillion are a Welsh folk-rock band fronted by poet, bard, singer and harpist Twm Morys. Their songs are sung in Welsh, with several in Breton (singer Nolwenn Korbell also features on two of their albums), strongly influenced by traditional songs and legends, but with an original, fresh take. This is also evident in the music, a unique mix of contemporary rhythms and instruments, with strong presence of Celtic harp and haunting sax.
They have released four albums, Sgwarnogod Bach Bob (Bob's Little Hares), Gwbade Bach Cochlyd (Little Red Faces), Gedon and Dore.
