There have been two bands with this name. Halflight 2010-ongoing Halflight are Chris Cookson and Joe Rickerby. Halflight began after Chris and Joe met at a house party in London in October 2010, and within a month their first EP 'Shine On' was written and recorded. Artist Type:

Neil Thomas

Innovator, risk taking, genius. Neil Thomas is none of these things. He is however one of the most mathematical guitar players in the world and everyone should seek out his autistic genius. It's as if Carol Voderman made love to John Williams (the classical guitar player, not the composer) and this Scottish Rain Man was the result. Perfect music for those with OCD.

Cromlech

Cromlech was a Melodic Death Metal band in the vein of Eucharist's A Velvet Creation but continued to build on their own sound to develop their own brand of Melodic Death with their following Promo and then last EP, The Vulture Tones. The sound exhibitied in those two releases after "And Darkness Fell" (1996) was much more elaborate now mixing in more elements of straight death metal as well as hints of black metal.

Julia Harris

Julia Harris was born in Cardiff but spent the first few years of her life in Cape Town, South Africa whale watching and riding on the cable car up to Table Mountain. Life growing up in South Wales was full of adventure too, camping, singing around bonfires, mud sliding down hills in the country and putting on talent shows for the local kids in the street. At 7 Julia was given a Casio VL-1 Keyboard from Santa and started playing along to her parents record collection. Zeppelin, Floyd, Squeeze, Paul Simon and Motown classics made a big impact on her.

Enjoying an instant rapport, the five piece Karnataka recorded what became their debut album, Karnataka, in Ian's basic home studio. In the beginning, the band had no thought of actually releasing the album — they had made the recording for their own pleasure.
