There are 2 bands named Absu. (1)
Absu started in 1990 in Plano, TX (USA). Their musical style started with death metal but it soon evolved to black/thrash metal. Their lyrical content is mostly Celtic and Sumerian/Mesopotamian mythology. Proscriptor (vocals/drums) is, after the departure of both founding members Shaftiel (1991-2002) and Equitant Ifernain (1991-2002), the mastermind behind the band.

Nifelheim

Nifelheim was formed in 1990 by Tyrant (bass/guitar), Demon (drums) and Hellbutcher (vocals). Soon they were also joined by guitarist Morbid Slaughter.
Around New Years 92/93 the band made their first recording and released the legendary landmark of metal - "Unholy Death Demo". Reviewers were shocked! Nifelheim delivered music unheard of since the glory days of Venom, Hellhammer, Bathory and early Mayhem. Great reviews in mags and a massive underground word of mouth got the record labels interested.

Deathhammer

Deathhammer was formed in 2005, in Norway (Hamar/Grimstad) by Sergeant Salsten (Guitar, bass, vocals) and Sadomancer (Drums, backing vocals). Bands lyrical themes are about zombies, death and blasphemy. They released three demos and one full-length album Barbaric Onslaught (Demo, 2006)

Vampire

Vampire is a Death/Thrash Metal band from Göteborg, Sweden. Vampire is also a Japanese punk band popular in the early 80's. There was also a band called Vampire in the late 80's in the Czech republic. The band ended its carrier a few years after releasing their first CD due to members' arguments about its future. The band sold over 5000 CDs which was quite a success for a newcoming band in the Czech republic.

Gospel of the Horns

Gospel of the Horns formed in Brisbane, Australia, in '93 and in late '94 they released their cult demo The Satanist's Dream. It gathered great responses, which in turn led to a deal with the incompetent Einstand Records to press the demo on CD. Not only was the layout incorrect, they also placed a photo of a different band in the booklet... To this day, the band urge no-one to purchase this CD as this label does not warrant your money.

Diabolical

DIABOLICAL are a Swedish Death Metal band that were formed late 1996 by S.Widgren who now is the only original member still active in the band. DIABOLICAL have been influenced by the well-known Thrash/Death-Metal pioneers like Dark Tranquillity, Death, Carcass and At the Gates. In January 2000 DIABOLICAL recorded their first CD-release, entitled "Deserts of Desolation". In April 2001 DIABOLICAL returned to studio and mixed the experience about latest Swedish Metal together to a great "Synergy".

Having released a well received EP through Iron Pegaus records, Hellbringer will very soon be releasing a debut full length release titled 'Dominion of Darkness' through the mighty German underground label High Roller Records.
