Girlschool

Girlschool started in 1975 when Enid Williams (Bass, Vocals) and Kim McAuliffe (Rhythm Guitar, Vocals) formed an all girl rock covers band called ´Painted Lady´ in South London. Kelly Johnson and Denise Dufort later joined and in April 1978 they changed their name to ´Girlschool´ Their first single ´Take it all away´ was released on the ´City Records´ label which led to them gaining a Motörhead support slot on the Overkill tour in 1979. After signing with Lemmy´s record company Bronze later that year, the band released their first album ´Demolition´ in 1980.

Tygers of Pan Tang

Tygers of Pan Tang is a new wave of british heavy metal band originating from Whitley Bay in the North-East of England. The band was originally formed by Robb Weir (guitar) Brian Dick (drums) Rocky (real name Richard Laws - bass) and Jess Cox (vocals). Rapidly building a local following, they were first signed up by local independent label Neat Records before MCA gave them a major record deal and released their first album "Wild Cat" in 1980.

Deliverance

A few bands called Deliverance: 1) Deliverance is a band from Los Angeles, CA, USA. One of the more prolific christian bands in the metal world, Deliverance spent their early days playing speed metal/thrash metal, quite similar to then-labelmates Vengeance Rising, before moving on to a more melodic/progressive metal style around the time of 1994's River Disturbance. They broke up in 1995, reformed in 2000, and after a few releases, broke up again in September of 2002.

Sentenced

Sentenced was a Finnish band, formed in 1989 and disbanded in 2005. Sentenced was originally formed in 1989 in the town of Muhos, Finland as a band. The band produced their first album "Shadows Of The Past" in 1991 with singer/guitarist Miika Tenkula. The next two albums "North From Here" and "Amok" and the following EP "Love & Death" had bassist Taneli Jarva as singer, but in 1995 Taneli decided to take a few years off to rest before starting a new band, The Black League. Sentenced recruited Ville Laihiala in 1996 and put out the album "Down".

Cog

There are at least three bands that are named Cog. One from Australia, one from the Philippines, and one from Croatia. 1)
Cog was a rock band from Sydney, New South Wales. Cog consisted of members Flynn Gower (lead guitar, lead vocals), Lucius Borich (drums, samples, backing vocals) and Luke Gower (bass guitar and backing vocals), who had been a band since 1998. Flynn Gower and Lucius Borich (the son of renowned Australian blues guitarist Kevin Borich) were friends at their Bondi high school in the 1980s.

Spiderbait

Spiderbait are an band formed in 1991 in Finley, New South Wales, Australia which consists of Mark "Kram" Maher (drums, lead vocals), Janet English (bass, vocals) and Damien Whitty (guitar). They have had two top ten albums and another three albums reach the Australian top 40. Their song Buy Me A Pony was #1 on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 1996, and the group enjoyed success with their 2004 #1 Australian hit cover of Black Betty.
