Playing 1960s Nuggets that belie their age, the Strange Boys quickly inserted themselves in Austin’s garage rock and pop revival of the mid millennium alongside bands like The Black and The Ugly Beats. Beginning as a duo in 2001, the Dallas group congealed into its current quartet of brothers Ryan and Philip Sambol alongside Matt Hammer and Greg Enlow in 2004. The following year brought the release of their appropriately titled debut EP, States Newest Noise Makers, Ryan’s slurred, slacker vocals texturing their classic riffs and rhythms.

The Arcadian Kicks are a fresh midlands band playing in an Indie/Rock style. They formed in the early months of 2006 and since then have developed thier fanbase and played various gigs around the West Midlands. Nu Brand Flexxx (NBF) was founded by Richie Montana, who for many years was on the Underground Garage scene and released hits such as "Roses are Red," But when the times changed Richie wanted something new to bring to the scene, leading him onto new and fresh talent he recruited Boya Dee, Sas Killa and Likle P to join the team in 2004. Shortly After they joined, Richie decided to hand the crew over to Sas Killa, who had then recruited members such as Striver (Striver Productions), Vener Remah and Darq e Freaker.

The is more than one band with the name "The Vignettes" One is a raw rock-n-roll duo that was originally Minneapolis-based but is now Memphis-based. They have self-released 3 cd's.
