The Nomads
Several bands over the years have recorded under the name The Nomads. With over 40 singles and 12 full length recordings over a career spanning almost 30 years, the most prolific and certainly the most long-standing act recording and performing under the name The Nomads is the Swedish rock band whose original members were Hans Östlund (guitar), Nick Vahlberg (bass/guitar and vocals) and Joakim Tärnström (guitar/bass). With drummer Ed Johnson they cut their first single "Psycho" in 1981. Their first album, the mini-LP "Where the Wolfbane Blooms" followed in 1983.

Len Price 3
"The Len Price 3 are a garage pop band hailing from the Medway Towns. Their sound is forged in the Medway tradition, fusing driving energy, catchy hooks and a raw 60's garage sound. On disc and at live shows The Len Price 3 offer a truly memorable and invigorating sonic experience. Their first album, Chinese Burn, originally released by Laughing Outlaw and recently re-released on Little Steven's Wicked Cool label, offers something for everyone from the Devils of Chatham Town to childhood memories of fat wrestlers on Saturday afternoon TV.
Colleen Green
Colleen Green always wears sunglasses onstage. Colleen Green is long hair and getting high. Colleen Green's first full-length for Hardly Art, Sock it to Me, is grounded in pure pop. Colleen Green's multi-tracked, emotive vocals take an enormous leap forward, evoking all-time heroes such as Rose Melberg and Tina Weymouth, with every drum-machine-tracked song awash in the dreamy slacker romanticism of California.
Box Elders
Box Elders started as the Friday night goof off sessions of brothers Clayton and Jeremiah McIntyre. Naming themselves after the bugs that infested the house they grew up in, they began playing impromptu shows around Omaha. Drummer and organist Dave Goldberg saw them play a free show in a park and was convinced to join. The brothers suggested that Goldberg learn to play both instruments simultaneously instead of adding a fourth member. It took some practice.
The Brilliant Corners
At long last a band is being recognised for the influence it has had without the commercial acclaim that some of their songs deserved.
This seminal Bristol band consisted of a nucleus of Chris Galvin (bass) and David Woodward (vocals and guitars) with Bob Morris (drums) plus various others during their ten years of existence.
Through various styles they created a unique Bristol slant on the 80's which was never deemed glamorous by the press or music gliterrati in general. Some may say that the Bristol scene was insular but it was really about being yourself and getting on with things.
