Thee Oh Sees

John Dwyer (of Coachwhips, Pink and Brown, Landed, Yikes, Burmese, The Hospitals, Sword & Sandals, Superpit, The Drums, The Trawgs, Zeigenbock Kopf and Dig That Body Up It's Alive!) is in Thee Oh Sees and he seems to be making this band the most serious project. He's done everything from noise to death metal to punk and now this.
Thee Oh Sees are no doubt the lightest of his excursions, but it also shows what may be his very essence. It's obvious that he loves music and wants to experience it all, touch every aspect, and give it all a go.

"If this evil narco drone rock don't get you off, brothers and sisters, nothing will." (Paul Lowman, The Talk Magazine) Exploding out of the soulless back streets of York, The Federals bring a vitality, urgency and immediacy to the music scene. Fast and furious, these four angry youths are putting the rage into garage with an arsenal of spiky potential rock n' roll classics. "Proper attitude, all black-clad, no smiles, chopping out each three minute snarl and ripping on to the next one. Great stuff indeed." (Sandman Magazine)

Shut Up And Dance

Shut Up And Dance - british breakbeat pioneers from scratch. Started with Hip Hop tunes and set up a soundsystem with DJ Hype but soon they integrated House and Techno influences and sped up the beats. With Reinforced SUAD could count as inventors of UK Hardcore. Early classics like Lamborghini, 10 Pounds To Get In, Greenman, The Art Of Moving Butts or the famous Raving I'm Raving saved them a place in the Hall Of Fame of UK Hardcore. After having problems with several unauthorized samples their own label "Shut Up And Dance" disappeared - but rose again from the dust in the last few years.

The Transpersonals

Bristol-based 3-piece comprising Tim Hurford, Luke Barter and Matt Bane, playing their own brand of cosmic psychedelia. '60's garage...somewhere between The Sonics and The Beach Boys' - Gimme Shelter. 'Garage is all about those individual two-and-a-half minute wonders and TP have them aplenty' - Venue Magazine. EP released on itunes in october. ‘Hello Hello’ is a psych-tinged, tongue-in-cheek Surf-Pop ditty and a mighty catchy little number, whilst the truly mentally ill ‘Silver Star’ features the definitely not mentally ill Katey Brooks as guest-vocalist.
