Apoptygma Berzerk

Apoptygma Berzerk is a Norwegian // musical group, formed in 1989. The current lineup includes Stephan Groth (vocals, programming, guitars, samples), Brandon Smith (guitars) and Thomas Jakobsen (drums). The group has achieved moderate commercial success with a unique brand of gloomy, danceable gothic , winning awards and Top-10 spots in Germany and Scandinavia. The band's name is commonly abbreviated to APOP or APB.

Having picked up a second-hand guitar in 1985, and learning from Calvin Johnson, Lois Maffeo's first band was Lumihoops, with Sharon Berman and Jan Brock. They only played live once, at the Smithfield Cafe, but can be heard on the Yoyo Recordings compilation Throw.
Her second band, The Cradle Robbers, was formed with future The Spinanes member Rebecca Gates. They released one track on the compilation Red Hot + Bothered/Indie Rock Guide To Dating before disbanding.

Spleen United is a Danish eletronick rock band. It was formed in Århus, Denmark in 2002. With an underlying tone of warm romanticism and a musical approach that can be down and dirty, hard rocking, melodious and experimental, Spleen United sounds like no other band in Denmark today. They have replaced bass and guitar with synthesizers on many of the tracks, and they insist on playing synthesizers as if they were guitars, lending an organic feel to the electronic aspects of the album. In other words, Spleen United have their own unique approach to music.

He is most notable as the lead singer of Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service, although also known for his project ¡All-Time Quarterback! and his first band, Pinwheel. Gibbard spent his formative years in Bremerton, Washington during the time of the grunge musical explosion during the early 1990s. Alphabeat

Alphabeat is a Danish pop band from Silkeborg signed to Copenhagen Records in Denmark. Their Danish debut single "Fascination" was a major hit in Denmark during the summer of 2007. A second single "10,000 Nights" saw equal success, just like their eponymous debut album that went platinum in Denmark. Their sound is mainly retro 80s melodic pop, taking inspiration amongst others from Deacon Blue and Prefab Sprout, with distinctive overlay of male and female harmonies.
