Ensemble Economique

Ensemble Economique is a drone / psychedelic project of Brian Pyle (Starving Weirdos, RV Paintings) started in 2008 in Manila, California, United States. The eight pieces on the debut album, released on October 2008, At the Foot of Nameless Roads range from extended tonal drift-scapes to brief exercises in dissonance, each approaching the field of drone from a different angle. Clearly Pyle is no part-timer and his varied, often very challenging music takes in a broad range of influences. http://www.myspace.com/ensembleeconomique

Gravetemple

Gravetemple is the name given to the line-up of Attila Csihar, Stephen O'Malley and Oren Ambarchi. The trio formed in United States in the summer of 2006 to perform a series of live shows in Israel, while Israel was engaged in the 2006 Lebanon War. In Summer 2008 the trio reformed together with Australian drummer Matt "Skitz" Sanders for a short European tour. This band is not to be confused with the Burial Chamber Trio which consists of a similar line-up but with Greg Anderson instead of Stephen O'Malley.

regolith

Regolith formed in 2005 for the purpose of creating music on a geological scale; music of mountains, shifting like glaciers, slow and relentless processes on grand timescales. From deep tectonic ambience to explosive volcanic noise, this is music of stone, designed to be as contemplative and beautiful - yet unpredictable and dangerous - as nature itself.
