Damien Dubrovnik

Formed in 2009, Damien Dubrovnik is the Danish electronic duo of Christian Stadsgaard (Sarah’s Charity) and Loke Rahbek (Sexdrome, Var, Lust For Youth), founders of the Copenhagen based record label Posh Isolation. In their day job as label managers, Stadsgaard and Rahbek have been instrumental in establishing the city’s prolific and exciting noise / punk community and outgrowing their humble beginnings in noise / industrial culture by attracting a cult / fanatical worldwide following of obsessive record hoarders, hipster bloggers, depressive punks and industrial maniacs.

Evan Caminiti

Evan Caminiti's busy work with Barn Owl and Higuma didn't preclude him from the solo route either, with his 2010 effort for Three Lobed Recordings being an attractively dark example of his approach to guitar (and not simply due to the album cover art). Little surprise too that West Winds starts off not only with the wonderfully titled "Night of the Archon" but that it sounds simultaneously sweetly beautiful and darkly menacing; if it's not quite whistling past a graveyard...

windings

The Space I Occupy/ The Hassle” is the new double A-sided 7” Single from windings, on Out On A Limb Records. Contained within this new release are two very different sides of the always eclectic windings, one part paranoid cowbell boppin’ rant, and the other, an existential lament complete with kids’ choir. Both songs show the band flexing their musical muscles in ways they have perhaps refrained from thus far.

Karina ESP

Karina ESP has been recording lo-fi minimal ambient music since 1998. Initial releases on home-made hand-painted cassettes merged improvised ambient drones with delayed guitar folk. Appearances on other fine labels and formats followed. In recent years Karina ESP has released a collaborative 10" with Circle Brothers and a cassette of unreleased/rare material on the excellent Belgian label Morc.
