Honeytrap

Formed in Coventry in 2005. Honeytrap (UK) have released a limited edition vinyl single named Andy The Freefaller, an EP called Naked Dancing and an album called Follies in Great Cities all on the Tough Love Records label. Their Myspace account is at www.myspace.com/honeytraponmyspace. Honeytrap (USA) are a desert-wave/stoner-fuzz group from Melbourne, Australia. They released a 2005 EP "Bull's Can't Be Choreogrpahed" recorded by Jason Fuller (Blood Duster), this year are set to release their follow up "Own Private Intervention". Sharon Corr

Sharon Helga Corr, MBE (born March 24, 1970 in Dundalk, Ireland) is a musician and member of the Irish pop-rock band The Corrs. She plays the violin and sings backing vocals. At 5'5", Sharon is the tallest of the three sisters, and the second tallest of the four siblings, after her elder brother Jim. The Corr siblings were awarded honorary MBEs in 2005 by Queen Elizabeth II, in recognition of their musical talents and also their charitable work which has raised money for Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, victims of the Omagh Bombing and other charities.

Joshua Bell

Joshua Bell is an internationally-acclaimed American violinist known for the versatility of his musical understanding as well as his technical skill. He has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras under such conductors as Charles Dutoit. A master of the classical repertoire, Bell has expanded his career to contemporary music and genres such as folk and jazz. He has won Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for his work with John Corgliano on The Red Violin.

Bill Frisell

Bill Frisell was born in Baltimore, but was raised in Denver, CO. Once a classical clarinetist, he established a firm base in his traditional harmonic knowledge early on in life. Throughout high school and college he also played guitar in various rock and R&B groups in the Denver area. During high school, however, he became profoundly interested in jazz guitar. In 1971 Frisell attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and also began studying with Jim Hall, one of the prominent jazz guitarists of the 1960s.

Nigel Kennedy

Nigel Kennedy (born December 28, 1956 in Brighton, England) is a violinist and violist. He was a pupil at the Yehudi Menuhin School, under Yehudi Menuhin himself, and later at the Juilliard School under Dorothy DeLay. Kennedy has done much a to popularise classical music, particularly among young people. He has also performed and recorded most of the major violin concerti. Kennedy expresses concern for the immediate appeal of live performance, and often records entire works or movements in single 'takes' to preserve this sense in his recordings.

Anne-Sophie Mutter

Anne-Sophie Mutter (born June 29, 1963 in Rheinfelden, Germany) is a German violinist.
Mutter started playing the piano at age five. Shortly after, she began playing the violin, studying with Erna Honigberger and Aida Stucki.
After winning several prizes, she was exempted from school to dedicate herself to her art. When she was 13, conductor Herbert von Karajan invited her to play with the Berlin Philharmonic. In 1977, she made her debut at the Salzburg Festival and with the English Chamber Orchestra under Daniel Barenboim.

Rasputina is a "" ensemble composed of singer/cellist Melora Creager, and various, frequently changing band members. The current lineup includes Creager (cello), Daniel Dejesus (cello), and Dawn Miceli (drums). Founded by Creager in 1992, they have long held true to their mission of enlightening the common man as to the power and versatility of the mighty cello. I'm Not A Band

I'm not a Band is indeed not really a band as such, it's rather an explosive band of tunes, sounds and catchy melodies composed, produced and played by classical musician Stephan J. Brought up by professional musicians in the north of Germany, Stephan soon wanted to make music himself – and he started playing the violin, later drums, guitar and the piano. From 2005-2006 he lived in London and was fascinated and inspired by London's music culture. It was just at the beginning of 2008 that he started 'playing laptop' as an outlet for his musical verve.

Accademia Bizantina

Accademia Bizantina was formed in 1983 with the intent to make music "like a large string quartet", with equal dedication, participation and collective satisfaction.
With the same "chamber" approach today as then, the group is entirely run by the members, who together decide objectives and guidelines.
Since 1996 Ottavio Dantone and Stefano Montanari have collaborated in total harmony to provide the musical direction of the ensemble, covering respectively the roles of music director and of concertmaster, melding together the best of their human and artistic qualities .
