Resolution 242 is a 4 peice punk band from the UK. Most of their songs are about controvesial subjects such as aminal rights, human rights, anti-fascism, anti-war ect.
Many of their songs have a ska/reggae influence, many do not. They are very honest about their music and do not claim to have all of the answers to these problems. They are simply trying to raise awareness about these issues.
The band played a blend of fast punk/grindcore & power violence. Lyrics with written in a straight forward manner talking about such issues as animal rights, anti-authority/anti-cops, pro working class etc. They played their first gig in November 2003 & played their final gig in August 2008 in their home city of Preston (Lancashire). They only put out 3 releases in that time (some could say quality, not quantity lol).
We are a band from Eastern Switzerland and have been playing together since September 2008. We have played in several bands before and were now motivated to spread our ideas with our music, so we started the band Unveil. We've chosen the name "Unveil" because we think that many people are not aware of how much is going wrong on this planet. We want to take part in making the problems known. We want to unveil them. For us it's very important to walk through our life with a sober mind.

The EP is a true story about a headteacher from the band's school, who was murdered by a rentboy he owed money to. The band also did a demo in Jan 2012 called 'Midnight In The Bellagio'.
