6) Latvian blues band, formed in 1991 1) By far the best known Australian RAC band is called Fortress, which works out of Melbourne. Like most such bands, it is largely the product of a specific skinhead group, in this case the Melbourne "Southern Cross Hammer Skins". Fortress even shared a post-office box with the Hammer Skins in their early days.

Close Shave

The band started at Birmingham in 1986 under the line up: Rich - vocals, Paul (Dirk) - guitar, Neil (Lurch) - bass, Steve - drums. With this line up they played a few gigs and recorded some demo tracks and also recorded the song 'The Law' for 'The Sound Of Oi!' compilation. Rich joined the army and was replaced by Martin (Fluffy). They released their first lp in 1988 under the title 'Oi! Kinnock Give Us Back Our Rose' and in 1990 their second lp 'Hard As Nails'. Neil took the vocals duties when Martin left the band and Sid from Section 5 came to bass.

There is more than one artist with this name. 1) DDT (or ??? in Cyrillic) is a popular Russian rock band founded by its permanent lead singer, Yuri Shevchuk (???? ??????), in Ufa in 1980. 2) DDT is a RAC band from Italy. 3) DDT was hardcore punk band from Atlanta, USA. 4) DDT is a pop-punk band from Spain. 5) DDT is a Polish death metal band from the early 90's. They released 2 demos (Dethroned Death and Fineness of Brutality) before calling it a day. There is a compilation CD released in 2010 that includes both demos and an unreleased track.

Redrum

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Redrum - (often stylized as REDRUM) is a Japanese indie/shoegaze rock band who formed in 1996 with the decisive goal of becoming a band similar to Portishead for Japan. The members of the band consist of Yumi (vocals), Tsuyoshi (guitar) and Kazi (drums). The role of bassist officially changed two times and was helmed primarily by Soto who joined the band early on and stayed until his departure in December 2004. Their catalogue of works consists of only a few proper albums, several mini albums and maxi singles.

Valhalla

There are many bands under the name of Valhalla, 10 of them are metal. 1) The best known Valhalla hails from Petrozavodsk, Rusland and has released one album under the name of "Hail To The Fallen Majesty" in 2003. 2) There is another Valhalla originating from Bedfordshire in England from 1979 playing progressive metal. They had two national single releases on the NEAT records label, "Coming Home" and the double A sides of "Jack" and "Still in Love with You" together with tracks on the compilation album sponsored by the popular music paper SOUNDS.
