Wasted Youth

There have been at least three Wasted Youths. The first Wasted Youth were a punk/new wave group from Canning Town in east London who released several records on the Bridge House label in the late 70s. Similarly to early Only Ones their sound was very Lou Reed influenced. The first two singles "Jealousy" and "I'll Remember You" remain classics of their kind The second (sometimes known as "LA's Wasted Youth") was a band in early 80s from Los Angeles, California, who played classic hardcore punk.

There are 3 bands by the name "False Alarm":
Los Angeles, California (Punk Rock)
In 1981, brothers Paul and Floyd Aragon started a band called Bad Influence. The present name False Alarm, came up around 1982. Brent Alden, a bass player for the band remembers, "Me and Paul started calling it False Alarm because we pulled alarms by the Fairfax District". In the early days, the band wasn't well organized. The band consisted of various members, including Fat Mike later of NOFX. Influenced by the Ramones, Dead Boys, Black Flag, Angry Samoans and Reagan Youth. By 1983 the band had broken up.

Infectious Grooves

Infectious Grooves (n., in-fek-shus groovz) are a funk metal band led by Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir. It also featured ex-Suicidal Tendencies, now Metallica, bassist Robert Trujillo, and ex-Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins. Though Muir's sense of humor was often obvious with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves often brought out a goofier type of humor: their albums contain comedy skits by a reptilian lover named Sarsippius. The band can be seen (and heard) performing as the prom band in the 1992 Pauly Shore film Encino Man
