As always, there seems to be more than one group with a name like this 1)The Rivals were a UK punk band from Ramsgate, in existence from 1976-1981. Originally formed by childhood friends Mark Edwards (guitar, vocals) and Paul Leinster (bass, vocals), they soon added Mark Hebden (drums). The most well known lineup for the band, and the one that produced the vast majority of music that you can find from them, came about when Hebden left the band, to be replaced by Paul Daley on drums.
Career
With hits like Party, My lover, Get to you and Everybody, DeDe has released four albums, TBA (1995), I do (1997), Metaphor (1999) and Like A Queen 2002, these sold over 500.000 copies. DeDe was the only Swedish artist in Michael Jackson’s opening act in 1997 at Ullevi stadium in Sweden. With more than 500 000 albums sold, she has worked with world-class Pop producers and songwriters such as Anders Bagge (Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion), The famous Cheiron Team: Max Martin, Per Magnusson...
Neneh Cherry & The Thing is a collaboration between Neneh Cherry from Sweden and a group named The Thing, starting around 2010. They released an album The Cherry Thing in June 2012.
There are multiple artists known as Desecrator: 1. Desecrator is grindcore genre inspired four-piece band from Paris, France formed in year 1993. During this time they have toured around, recorded and released at least five various length albums - latest of them split with band Agathocles in year 2007. 2. Desecrator was an early death metal band from the UK. They formed in 1989, recorded a promo in 1990, and released their only full length 'Subconscious Release' in 1991, then disappeared.
The Knife is an electronic duo from Stockholm, Sweden formed in 1999. The band consists of siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson (formerly of Honey is Cool, now Fever Ray) and Olof Dreijer - who also run their own record company, Rabid Records. The group rarely makes public appearances, most of their promotional photos feature the members wearing masks, and formerly refused to perform live concerts. However the group has showed themselves in public wearing masks formed as bird's beaks, similar to those used by medieval doctors.
