Steve Abel

Steve Abel is a New Zealand born singer songwriter. His songs have been described as elemental, beautiful and haunting. Abel's debut album Little Death (2006) was described as "a hidden treasure in the New Zealand music scene," and Abel was labelled "an extraordinarily good songwriter" by the Alternatui Awards which named Little Death 2006 Album of the Year. His follow up album FLAX HAPPY (2008), which features Texan chanteuse Jolie Holland, was equally well received with on critic labelling Abel as "In a community of poet troubadours" (Nick Bollinger, Radio NZ)

The Knux

Composed of brothers Krispy Kream and Rah Al Millio, the Knux are an alternative rap duo who are musicians as well as singer/rappers. Born in New Orleans yet displaced by Hurricane Katrina, the musically schooled brothers began creating a stir nationally in late 2007 when they were the opening act for Common on his Finding Forever tour. Dressed in throwback Adidas zip-ups, fat gold chains, and altogether atypical contemporary rap attire, the Knux performed with a live band (the Symetrics) and DJ (DJ Cobra) and frequently left crowds puzzled and occasionally booing.

Manilla Road

Manilla Road is an American band from Wichita, Kansas, USA, forming around its master of lead guitar Mark 'The Shark' Shelton (vocals and guitar). They are considered the creators and masters of the the so-called "" subgenre. Manilla Road was created by Shelton in 1977 with high school friends Benny Munkirs, Rick Fisher and brothers Robert and Scott Park. After playing in local bars, the group first gained attention with their song "Herman Hill," inspired by the Herman Hill riot.

The Shotgun

SHOTGUN is a 3-piece band that features the songwriting of Eric Mayer and the unique musical chemistry formed between those mid-Atlantic children, Ben Carlson, Mike Holston, and Eric. The band got its start in January 2004, when the three members met for the first time and recorded a short demo, to be followed several months later by the home recording of their first two albums, "Standing Guard" and "77.

Trillium

There are two different bands named Trillium, a defunct indie rock band and a symphonic metal band formed by Amanda Somerville. In November 2011 Trillium released their deut album Alloy. Trillium was an indie rock band based in Ottawa, Canada from 1995 - 2002. The members included: Jamie Read, vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboard; Ben Elkin, lead guitar; Dan Abrams, bass; and Jesse Friedman, drums. The band formed after Jesse heard Jamie singing to himself at school and was invited to audition.
