The Deadbeats

There are, at least, four bands known as The Deadbeats: 1) An early punk band 2) A UK group. 3) A Swedish rock group. 4) A funky, jazzy hip-hop band currently residing in Honolulu Hawaii. 1) An early LA art punk band on the legendary Dangerhouse Records label. In 1978 they released their first and only EP titled Kill The Hippies. Members: Scott Guerin (vocals), Geza X (of Geza X and the Mommymen - guitar), Pat Delaney (of BPeople & The Romans - sax), Pasquale Amadeo (bass) & Shaun Guerin (drums).

Electro-punk outfit from the Pacific Northwest comprised of Okibi and Steeve B. They combine a number of industrial, noise, pop, and post-punk elements into a danceable and eclectic mix of politics, story-telling, and the occult.

Simian Mobile Disco

Simian Mobile Disco are an English dance production and remix team. Formed from the ashes of Simian in 2005, Simian Mobile Disco comprises James Ellis Ford and James Anthony Shaw. They have released a number of low profile singles, such as "The Count" on Kitsune Records, but have arguably gained more fame for their remixes of artists such as The Go! Team, Air and others. In the late ‘90s, James Ford and Jas Shaw were studying biology and philosophy, respectively, at Manchester University, while making electronic music in the spare room of their shared house.
