Rachid Taha

Rachid Taha (Arabic: رشيد طه) (born 1958) is a French-Algerian musician. His music is influenced by many different styles such as rock, techno, and raï. Taha was born in Oran, Algeria. His father was a factory worker. Taha's family immigrated to France in 1968. While working in a heating appliance factory in the late 1970s, Taha founded Les Refoulés ("The Rejects"), a nightclub where he would spin mashups of Arabic pop classics over Led Zeppelin, Bo Diddley, and Kraftwerk backbeats.

Tijuana Cartel

Tijuana Cartel is a Gold Coast band playing mexican and latin inspired music combined with house and electronic influences. It consists of Paul George and Carey O'sullivan as co-producers, guitarists and keyboard players. Regan Hoskins as MC & Daniel Gonzalez on latin percussion and a growing list of guests as live feature artists featuring DJ Freddie FlyFingaz, trumpet player Shannon Van Horn and Adam Dann on djembe & darabukka.

Monolake

Monolake was formed in 1995 as the duo of Gerhard Behles and Robert Henke, although on later albums the group consisted of Henke alone, with Behles focusing his time on running the Ableton software company. Their sound can generally be described as minimal techno filled with nice touch of fine tech dub, although the 1999 Gobi. The Desert EP, which contains a single 37-minute atmospheric piece, is a notable exception. Monolake first released an album and several 12"s on Berlin's Chain Reaction label, then on Monolake/Imbalance Computer Music, which is operated by Robert Henke.

There are two artists named Emmanuel Emmanuel (born Jesús Emmanuel Acha Martinez, April 16, 1955, in México City, Distrito Federal, México) is a very famous Mexican singer, debuting during the 1970s. Emmanuel sings in Spanish. His songs are usually love songs known as ballads, which became popular during the 1960s. The bulk of his hit ballads is comprised of compositions by the prestigious Spaniard Manuel Alejandro. A ballad differs from a bolero, which was a popular style of love song in Spanish-speaking nations during the 1940s and 1950s.

Elegy

There are at least four artists with the name Elegy: 1. Elegy are a / band from the Netherlands. They formed in 1986. 2. Elegy were a supposedly German Krautrock Band which were actually from Britain but were pretty much based full-time in Austria. They released the single "No Direction / Pain" in early 1971 which was recorded at the studios of Peter Mueller, Vienna. The A-Side "No Direction" was compiled on "Kraut! Demons! Kraut! Vol. 1 German Psychedelic Underground 1968-1974".
