Pine Leaf Boys
The Pine Leaf Boys are a two-time Grammy Award-nominated Cajun and Creole band from South Louisiana. Members include Wilson Savoy (accordion, fiddle, vocals), Courtney Granger (fiddle, accordion, vocals), Drew Simon (drums and vocals), Jon Bertrand (guitars), and Thomas David (bass). Former members include Cedric Watson (fiddle) and Blake Miller (bass, fiddle). They play traditional Cajun and Creole music from Southwest Louisiana, inspired by bands dating from the 20s such as Amédé Ardoin to modern bands such as Mamou Playboys and Jason Frey.
Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys
Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys are a Cajun band band from southern Louisiana. The band formed in 1988 and has since recorded 10 albums, nine of which are on Rounder Records. The bands members include: Steve Riley (accordion), David Greely (fiddle), Sam Broussard (guitar), Brazos Huval (fiddle/saxophone/bass) and Kevin Dugas (drums). An additional member, Jimmy Domengeaux played guitar with the band up until his death in 1999. Domengeaux was killed in a motorcycle accident in southwestern Louisiana.

Beausoleil
BeauSoleil is a musical group specializing in Cajun music. Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, the group members are brothers Michael Doucet (fiddle, vocals) and David Doucet (guitar, vocals), Jimmy Breaux (accordion), Billy Ware (percussion), Tommy Alesi (percussion), and Al Tharp (bass, fiddle). Founded in 1975, BeauSoleil (often billed as "BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet") released its first album in 1977 and became one of the most well-known bands performing traditional and original music rooted in the folk tunes of the creole and Cajun people of Louisiana.

The Dirty Dozen Brass Band are a New Orleans style brass band which plays R&B and Traditional New Orleans music. Band Members include Charles Joseph, Keith Anderson, Roger Lewis, Kevin Harris, Lionel Batiste, Efrem Towns, Kirk Joseph, Jenell Marshall, Revert Andrews, Gregory Davis, and Raymond Weber. Original band formed in 1975.
Zydecats
The Zydecats are the funniest band this side of Louisiana. Known to play up to 25 instruments in one show. The Zydecats will have you shaking your arse to their root flavoured music all night long.
Zydecats are based in Fremantle, Western Australia. 1992 - Escaping from the smoking wreck of the widely and critically acclaimed Dude Ranch, Lucky Oceans (world renowned steel guitarist, and by now button accordionist) approached Bill Rogers (vocals, sax and harmonica) about starting a band to play some Zydeco.
Zigaboo Modeliste
Joseph ' zigaboo' Modeliste is a renowned funk drummer, who started in the late 1960's with New Orleans' legendary funksters The Meters at age 17. In the studio he has played on tunes featuring Lee Dorsey,Keith Richards, Dr. John,Paul McCartney, Nicky Skopelitis, Bootsy Collins and Robert Palmer. He now lives in Oakland CA and fronts his own group that has produced two albums. His composistions have been recorded by acts like The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Primus.
