Dame Shirley Bassey

Dame Shirley Veronica Bassey, DBE (born January 8, 1937), is a Welsh singer, perhaps best-known for performing the theme songs to the James Bond films Goldfinger (1964), Diamonds Are Forever (1971), and Moonraker (1979). She is the only singer to have recorded more than one James Bond theme song. Bassey was born at 182 Bute Street, Tiger Bay, Cardiff to a Nigerian father who was a seaman, while her mother came from Yorkshire, North England.

Metro Station is a powerpop band that formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2006. They signed to Columbia/Red Ink Records and are perhaps best known for their single "Shake It" off their self-titled debut album. Popularized mainly by their co-frontman Trace Cyrus, this music act has experienced a recent boom in their record sales. In 2007 Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso were introduced by their mothers on the set of Hannah Montana, in which Mason's brother Mitchel and Trace's sister Miley star in together.

Starship is an American rock band that operated from 1985 to 1989, reforming in 1992. In 1984, Paul Kantner left Jefferson Starship (San Francisco, California, USA). His former bandmates wanted to continue as Jefferson Starship, but Kantner, as the last founding member of Jefferson Airplane, took legal action over the "Jefferson" name. Kantner settled out of court and signed an agreement that neither party would use the names "Jefferson" or "Airplane" unless all members of Jefferson Airplane, Inc.

Moon Boots

Moon Boots entered the world in the mid-1980s via Cape Canaveral. After years of service as the preferred footwear of celebrity astronauts (notably Tom Hanks), Moon Boots came to life during a classified experiment aboard the International Space Station. Little is known of what actually transpired aboard the shuttle, but in short, Moon Boots became a sentient creature, equipped with reason, intuition, and groove.

So Solid Crew

So Solid Crew are a UK garage and grime act whose hits include "Oh No" and "21 Seconds", the latter of which reached number one in the official UK Singles Chart in August 2001. Another hit, "They Don't Know", reached number three in November 2001 and "Haterz" got to number eight in January 2002. "Ride Wid Us" was less successful (UK number 19 in April 2002). They have also released a single, "Broken Silence" which spoke out about government prejudice which they had faced.
