Dialect

There are several artists with the name Dialect. (1) Dialect is a lyricist from Adelaide, South Australia. In 2010 he & DJ/producer Despair released their debut album ‘The Vortex’. (2) Dialect is an electronic based project by Dan Lovegrove from Reading, England. His music consists of melodic harmonies of layered electronica with influences of post rock as well. He has since changed the name of his project to Unstatuesque. This is due to the fact that there is a hip-hop band with the name Dialect (see 4). http://www.myspace.com/unstatuesque

Dead Kennedys

Dead Kennedys are a hardcore punk/punk rock band from San Francisco, California. During the 1980s the band gained a large underground following in the international punk music scene. Their music mixed the more experimental elements of English 1970s punk with the raw energy of the 1980s American hardcore punk scene. Dead Kennedys' songs mix the deliberately shocking lyrics of punk with a satirical and sarcastic left-wing commentary on social and political issues.

Aoife O'Donovan

Aoife (pronounced EEF-ah) grew up in a musical family, immersed in folk music. She went on to study contemporary improvisation at the New England Conservatory of Music in her hometown of Boston. Harry and the Potters

Harry and the Potters are an indie rock band formed in Norwood, Massachusetts, in 2002 by brothers Joe DeGeorge and Paul DeGeorge. The band was inspired by the J.K. Rowling book series Harry Potter and were the first of many similar artists making music about the fictional boy wizard. They have released three full-length studio albums, Harry and the Potters in 2003, Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock! in 2004 and Harry and the Potters and the Power of Love in 2006.

Mineral

"Mineral" could refer to at least four bands, an emo band from Houston, Texas, Armenian rock music veterans from Jermuk and another one from Boston. 1) Mineral formed in 1994 and like other young bands, they toured constantly, virtually living in their van. The band's first release, the 7 inch "Gloria"/"Parking Lot" 7", was released on Audio Concept by Kerry McDonald from Christie Front Drive (the record was later re-released by Caulfield Records). Through a few rabid fans, that 7" found its way into the hands of crank! and Mineral later decided to release their records on the label.

The Body

The Body (1): Sludge metal band 1999-. (2): Finnish hard rock band 1996-. (3): Christian hip-hop group. (4): 70s progressive rock group. (1) The best-known The Body is a two-piece sludge metal band based in Providence, Rhode Island, United States (formed in 1999), with heavy, low riffs, high-pitched screaming vocals, and occasional samples. They have released two full length records, a collaborative album with Braveyoung, an EP, splits with Get Killed and Whitehorse, a demo, and an anthology of their EPs, 7 inches, demos, ect.

Pronto

When not playing in his full-time gig with Wilco, New Jersey native-via-Chicagoan-via-Brooklynite Mikael Jorgensen crafts pitch-perfect pop songs under the moniker of Pronto. The full story begins all the way back in 1995, the golden age of indie-rock, when Jorgensen was growing weary of the limitations of pop music. Fueled by healthy amounts of art school cynicism and the post-adolescent desire to create something unique, Movere Workshop was formed in the basement of a house in Leonardo, New Jersey.

Le Youth

Wes James, better known by his stage name Le Youth, is an American electronic musician, DJ, and producer. He is known for combining R&B with 90's house music. James currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Black 'N Blue

Black 'N Blue was a Heavy Metal band that was labeled to be the "next big thing" in the mid 80's, but despite having a loyal fan base, they never broke through commercially.
The group was formed by Jaime St. James (vocals), Tommy Thayer (guitar), Jeff Warner (guitar), Patrick Young (bass) and Pete Holmes (drums) in Portland, Oregon in 1981. By relocating to Los Angeles, they made their debut on the first Metal Massacre compilation with the song "Chains Around Heaven", before landing a major label deal.

Unter Null

Unter Null is an electronic music project formed by Erica Dunham in 1998 in Seattle, WA, now currently based in Hamburg, Germany. The official website is http://www.unter-null.net. Years of classical music training, a love for computers and technology, a tough-as-nails resolve, a fierce independent streak, and the compulsion to find catharsis through music led Erica to eventually form Unter Null at the age of 17. Unter Null has been and will always be Erica Dunham in the studio.
