After studying the violin for many years, he went on to pick up the guitar, following the steps of his sister, Claudia. Gepe (Daniel Riveros) is a singer-songwriter from Santiago, Chile. His recordings blend folklore (some clear influences are Violeta Parra and Victor Jara), pop and electronic. He emerged as one of the most important independent artists in Chile in 2005 due to his songs of heightened simplicity and innocence, soothing vocals, and warm and gentle sound. He has released three albums, Gepinto (2005), Hungría (2007) and Audiovisión (2010) and also forms half of the duo Taller Dejao.

Alejandro was born in Viña del Mar, Chile. Since he was a child, he was close to music because his father used to play tenor sax and was the owner of a huge jazz records collection. At the early age of 7 years, he used to spend many hours in front of the stereo. when he became a teenager, he started palying electric guitar in several school bands, influenced by the music of bands like Sonic Youth, Jesus & Mary chain and Pixies, among others.
