4) Darkness (Ger) - Eurodance/Techno band Not to be confused with the British hard rock group The Darkness. 1) Darkness was a German thrash metal band, formed 1984 in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia. They released a handful of demos and three full-length albums. “Death Squad” in 1987, “Defenders of Justice” in 1988 and “Conclusion and Revival” in 1989. In 2005 Battle Cry Records released a live album entitled “Bocholt Live Squad”.

1) Necronomicon were formed in 1971 in Aachen, the Western part of Germany near the Belgium and Netherlands border. With an album title (Tips zum Selbtsmord) that means "How to Commit Suicide," Necronomicon's one album, from 1972, featured bleak progressive garage rock with long instrumental passages. With wailing acid guitar solos, dark organ swirls, and angst-ridden singing in German, Necronomicon has created a dark and powerful vision that blends psychedelic and progressive music with a proto-punk garage band sensibility.

Delirium Tremens

There are mutiple artists with this name: 1) Delirium Tremens is an retro thrash metal Band from Germany. They fromed in 1996 by Christian Lindner -(Vocals), Christian Brehm (Guitars) , Ralf Enskat (Bass), Andreas Vonmetz (Guitars, left 1996/97) and Roberto Schmitt (Drums, left 1996). The band released their debut "Violent Mosh Ground" after several line up changes with Schmit leaving for Andreas Schley and Vonmetz leaving for Patrick Weinstein in 1999. The band on this album featured choatic 80's inspired german thrash metal with a hint of progressive groove in the riffing.

Torment

There is more than one artist with this name: 1. Torment are/were considered to be one of the more creative and original bands of the Psychobilly genre. Mystery surrounds Torment and the band achieved cult status, aided by the fact that the singer/frontman/songwriter Simon Brand committed suicide in 1994.
2. TORMENT are a death metal band from Belgium. TORMENT was founded in the summer of '99 by Jens Decaluwé (guitar), Nicolas Hernandez (drums), Ullie Vandendriessche(vocals) and David Caytan (bass).
