Although Eye Of The Hunter was released in October 1999, Brendan began work on the album while Dead Can Dance were still active - the idea was inspired, in part, by his incredible solo performance during 4AD's 13 Year Itch celebrations at the ICA in 1993.

Pictures At an Exhibition

As said on their Myspace (myspace.com/PicturesExhibition): "We offer to the music world an odd mix of metal, symphonic, punk and gothic rock. As a band, we draw our influences from various sources to create the raw musical palette that is Pictures at an Exhibition. Originally a folk rock band (the first song being a rendition of "Scotland the Brave"), we have mutated through several line-up and genres changes (such as punk rock to symphonic metal), finally reuniting in late September of 2007, just in time to perform at the Burnt Toast Café, hosted at D'Arcy Mcgee High school."
