The Stumps

The Stumps are a New Zealand based noise-rock trio made up of members Antony Milton (label's PseudoArcana chairman, also musician of A.M, The Nether Dawn, Mrtyu, etc), James Kirk (Sandoz Lab Technicians, Black Boned Angel, Gate, etc), and Stephen Clover (palindrone label, Seht). Formed in Wellington in 2003, the group is known for its noisy guitar soundscapes and improvisational take on psychedelic rock music.

There are actually 4 bands named RAYNE 1) RAYNE is a psychedelic rock band from New Orleans who recorded one eponymous record in 1979. Discovered in the late 1980s, their music is a mix of rural hardrock and mellow folkrock with Neil Young (especially the electric side on "Rust Never Sleeps") and angry cajun-mood Creedence as possible references. Matthew Ogle

From humble beginnings, the talented young Canadian Matthew Ogle (from Edmonton, Alberta) occasionally made poor-quality basement demos under a variety of pseudonyms. Sometimes his "friends", who love and believe in him very much, renamed the files, and through the power of Audioscrobbler and world-dominating international espionage, eventually backed the production for his 2006 album release. What may seem like a burlesque musical satire is surprisingly intimate — "From Alberta to the Albert: Live sessions from the Hot Grapefruit lounge" is an unexpectedly high benchmark for a first release.

Bohren & der Club of Gore

Bohren & der Club of Gore are a band founded in 1992 in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany by Thorsten Benning (drums), Morten Gass (keys), Reiner Henseleit (guitar), and Robin Rodenberg (upright / double bass). They play a crossover of and , which they self described as an "unholy ambient mixture of ballads, Black Sabbath and down tuned Autopsy sounds". Over the years they have continously reduced and compressed their music to extremes.

Sleepmakeswaves are an instrumental rock band from Sydney, Australia. Drawing influences mainly from but not limited to post-rock, the young quartet mix driving metallic bombast with textured electronics to create a sonic space where delicate melodies and thunderous climaxes peacefully co-exist. Slint

Slint was a math rock band consisting of Brian McMahan (guitar and vocals), David Pajo (guitar), Britt Walford (drums), Todd Brashear (bass on Spiderland) and Ethan Buckler (bass on Tweez). They formed in Louisville, Kentucky, United States in 1986. Though they disbanded circa 1991, they are considered to be a major influence on the , , and scenes. Slint's first album Tweez was recorded by legendary engineer Steve Albini in 1987 and released in obscurity on the Jennifer Hartman Records label in 1989.
