screamo

letlive.

Letlive originaly hail from Westchester, CA. they describe themselves as progressive/hardcore/soul. singer, Jason Aalon has an alomst falsetto voice offset by heavy metal like riffs and breakdowns. he also screams with such intenstity and urgency not heard by many before. During choruses the whole band sometimes 'chants', sounding like a prosession. their second offering, Speak Like You Talk sees a progression with a healthy balance between their loose-and-reckless moments of intensity and their more subtle and haunting sections with lounging melodies and guitar lines.

Oh, Sleeper

Oh, Sleeper is a band from Fort Worth, Texas signed to Solid State Records. Oh, Sleeper formed in April of 2006 after former members of short-lived rock band Terminal got together with former Between the Buried and Me guitarist Shane Blay. Eventually they found a vocalist in Micah Kinard and began practicing. As the 4 members began sledging through all the normal problems of a band start-up (no place to practice, no money and different schedules) the biggest obstacle was finding the last and final member.

Terzij de Horde

TERZIJ DE HORDE combine an amalgam of progressive black and doom metal with a rawness and live presence reminiscent of extreme hardcore or chaotic screamo.

Terzij de Horde is old Dutch for “set apart from the horde”. It is a line from the poem “Einde” (ending) by legendary Dutch poet Hendrik Marsman. Marsman is an inspiration to the band, as are many other authors and philosophers in the same dark, vitalistic vein.
