Angel Haze

Angel Haze lends logic to contradictions because she is full of them: she’s as confident as she is shy, and as proud as she is humble; she’s the most weathered rookie and the most reclusive social butterfly that you’ll ever get the chance to talk to. Like many, she’s a self-proclaimed breath of fresh air for those who appreciate music with actual substance. However, unlike most of her peers, she actually has the talent to back up the claim.

Jennifer Higdon

Jennifer Higdon (born December 31, 1962) is an American composer of classical music and flutist. Higdon was born in Brooklyn, but spent her first 10 years in Atlanta before moving to Tennessee. With almost no advanced flute training, she studied at Bowling Green State University towards a degree in flute performance. While at Bowling Green she met Robert Spano, who was teaching a conducting course there; Spano would go on to be the foremost champion of Higdon's music in the American orchestral community.

K's Choice

K's Choice is a Belgian rock band from Antwerp. The band centers on siblings Sarah Bettens (lead vocals, guitar) and Gert Bettens (guitar, keyboard, vocals). They are joined by Eric Grossman (bass), Jan van Sichem Jr. (guitar) and Koen Liekens (drums). Their music can be described as guitar-based singer-songwriter rock or folk-rock. 2.Kaia Wilson is a musician from Portland, Oregon, best known as a founding member of both Team Dresch, a revered 1990s queercore punk band and The Butchies, a pop-rock spin-off from her solo work. In addition to singing, songwriting and guitar, Wilson co-established and operated Mr. Lady Records.

Allison Weiss

Allison Weiss is an American guitar player and singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, NY. Weiss first picked up a guitar at age 14 in an attempt to become a punk rock star and impress her high school crush, and though the teenage romance died after one short month, her passion for music lived on. After moving to Athens, GA in 2005, Weiss spent the next five years in and out of various pseudo-relationships which fueled the fire for one infectious breakup song after another.

MEN is a Brooklyn-based band and art/performance collective that focuses on the energy of live performance and radical potential of dance music. MEN speaks to issues such as wartime economies, sexual compromise, and demanding liberties through lyrical content and an exciting stage show.
