Shana Morrison's musical style has been called pop with a side of blues and a side of rock. She has also been known to include other ingredients, like country, R&B, and jazz into the mix. Her material seems to be ever-changing and hard to pin down categorically. What always remains the same is Shana's unique and wide-ranging voice. Shana Morrison began performing with her group Caledonia in the San Francisco Bay area in 1996.

Brian was born November 12, 1943, in Brooklyn/Queens, New York City, where his first musical experience ranged from church choir at nine, to clarinet and guitar, to his first local harmony group, the Delfis. In 1959, they cut a demo record and made the rounds of New York City record labels. Finally, with much persistence, after many closed doors, Brian was signed as a solo artist to a management contract, where he cut demos for band leader Sammy Kaye's publishing company. Kapp Records heard a demo and signed Brian at age 16.

Forming in Melbourne (Australia) in mid-2004. A DEATH IN THE FAMILY play unique blend of sonic rock & melody driven punk inspired by bands like Leatherface, Husker Du and Hot Water Music. After releasing a 5-track demo EP (now out of print) in Dec 2004, ADITF have spent the past 12 months playing alongside bands such as Blueline Medic, The Nation Blue, Ted Leo (USA), The Explosion (USA), Bodyjar, Sommerset (NZ), Away From Now and were lucky enough to support Leatherface (UK) on their first Australian tour in mid-2005.
