Custard

1. Custard were a masterful band of pop craftsmen with an uncanny grasp of the two-minute-something single who seemed to have equal amounts of Devo, Pavement and, oddly, disco in their genetic makeup. They were also blessed with singer Dave McCormack, whose voice was innocent and boyish-sounding enough to get away with things that might ordinarily cause a fuss – from songs about speed labs to geeky dedications to Jim Henson and an infamous declaration that “music is crap”.

The band consists of Rai Thistlethwayte (vocals/guitar/keyboards), Phil Stack (bass guitar), Karl Robertson (drums), and Matt Smith (guitarist). Brad Strut

Brad Strut is an MC from Melbourne, Australia. He made his name through radio appearances in the early 90s and appeared on early releases from Bias B, Trem and Boney Stoney (Bias B and Brothers Stoney). His debut album "The Authentic" was released in 2001, after which he went on to form the Lyrical Commission with Trem and Bob Balans. LC released their debut "The Stage is Set" in 2002 and followed it up with the "Murderous Metaphors" EP in 2004.

Operator Please is a baroque pop band from Gold Coast, Australia that formed in early 2005 and their current line up consists of vocalist and guitarist Amandah Wilkinson, drummer Tim Commandeur, keyboardist Chris Holland, bassist Ashley McConnell, and violinist Taylor Henderson. Original keyboardist Sarah Gardiner left in April of 2008. They released their debut album, "Yes Yes Vindictive" in November 2007 in Australia and March 2008 in Germany/United Kingdom. They released their third single "Just A Song About Ping Pong" in Australia, debuting at #15 on the ARIA charts.

Gotye is Aussie Belgian Wally De Backer. He plays drums, percussion and piano, and he writes, sings and produces tracks at his home, currently in Victoria, Australia. Gotye's sound is a melting pot of samples from sources far and wide, mixed with Wally's vocals and home recorded sounds to form original songs that are as likely to channel '80s New Romantic pop or '60s Motown soul as they are to be experiments in kooky turntablism or progressive trip-hop landscapes.

Disco Stu is Ian Andrews, famous Australian electronic music producer and sound artist since the early 1980s (Cut with Kitchen Knife, The Horse He's Sick, Hypnoblob, Lymph Products etc). Disco Stu released several albums and tracks through Clan Analogue in the 1990s and early 2000 period, including the infamous 'Englishman in Ibiza' Album, the title track of which uses cut up speech from a Spanish Language record to create some rather rude innuendos. Noiseworks was a rock band that formed in Sydney, Australia in 1985. The lineup of Noiseworks was Jon Stevens (lead vocals), Stuart Fraser (guitar), Steve Balbi (bass), Justin Stanley (keyboards) and Kevin Nicol (drums).
