While virtually unknown to mainstream metal and rock circles, Defiance is known as one of the classic second-tier thrash bands to come from the Bay Area thrash metal scene. They played a decidedly technical style of thrash originally evoking bands like Testament, though they would later move on to playing in their own unique, more progressive thrash style. They reformed in 2005 and have since release an album entitled The Prophecy in late 2009.

Brad Sinsel formed TKO in 1977 with Rick Pierce. Two years later, TKO released its debut LP, Let It Roll, and by 1981, the band was headlining shows at Seattle and touring as the opening act for AC/DC, Van Halen, Heart, The Kinks and Cheap Trick. TKO went through several personnel changes before recording its best - known album In Your Face, in 1984, and its final album, Below the Belt, in 1986.

Cabbie started his musical journey back in 1991 buying records as an avid young dj, by 1995 he was taking his cause seriously and left college to start engineering for Bizzy B. from there the studio days took root spending his time learning all there is to know about music technology and soundscapes. in 1997 he started doing radio with the late mc Kendo (rip) on Flex fm, a brief stint on Ruud Awakening in 1997/98 and then onto Kool fm in 1999.

Childhood and early career The oldest of four siblings, Destra was raised in the community of Desperlie Crescent, Laventille in eastern Port of Spain, Trinidad and attended the St. James Secondary School where she discovered her passion for singing and music. She not only won her school's Calypso Monarch title for five consecutive years, she composed every one of her songs. At the age of 18 she joined a quartet called PSYKE which disbanded after only one year. Following the demise of the group, Destra attended the School of Business and Management earning a diploma in Sales Management.
