Big Sugar

Big Sugar is a band from Toronto, Canada. They were active from 1991 to 2004 and again since April 2010. The band has sold more than half a million albums in Canada. With its successful 2011 release of “Revolution Per Minute”, BIG SUGAR announced that they were not merely content to rest on their considerable laurels of past hits. Known for their innovative style that refuses to be easily labelled, as well as for their extraordinary live performances, which saw them close out last year with a full 40 city national tour, BIG SUGAR is back.

Sam Roberts

Sam Roberts is a Canadian singer-songwriter, based in Montreal, Quebec. His 2001 debut release, The Inhuman Condition became one of the bestselling independent releases in Quebec and Canadian music history. Born in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, he attended Loyola High School and McGill University. Roberts formed the band William in 1993. The band's name was changed to Northstar in 1996. Although the band gained some notice in independent rock circles, they couldn't break through to a national audience, and broke up in the late 1990s.

Snaith renamed himself Caribou in 2004 under threat of an American lawsuit by Richard "Handsome Dick" Manitoba, who had used the surname professionally since the 1970s but has not released any music as a solo artist. Manitoba's critically acclaimed album "Up In Flames" has since been re-released under the Caribou name and listed as such in discographies.

Two years later, TKO released its debut LP, Let It Roll, and by 1981, the band was headlining shows at Seattle and touring as the opening act for AC/DC, Van Halen, Heart, The Kinks and Cheap Trick. TKO went through several personnel changes before recording its best - known album In Your Face, in 1984, and its final album, Below the Belt, in 1986.
