There are two artists named "TC". The first is a Drum and Bass producer from the UK, the second is a songwriter and vocalist from Kentucky, USA. 1) TC stormed to success after the release of his debut album in 2007 and has not looked back since. With all the major DJs smashing his tunes and the unprecedented support of dance music’s elite, TC is D&B’s new wonder boy, rising through the ranks to receive the prestigious accolade of ‘Best Producer/Breakthrough Producer’ in the 2007 1Xtra ‘Xtra Bass Awards’ ceremony.
Sub Zero aka Jake Carter is one half of former drum and bass production duo G-Dub. After splitting up, Jake took on the name Sub-Zero and has come up with some dance floor smashers such as Spin doc, Fever, Motion and Dodge City. With most of thse releases coming out on Dj Hypes Ganja records, big things are expected of Sub Zero in the near future
Making music began as a hobby for the trio of producers / djs known as Mutated Forms hailing from Estonia. Original members Alexander (Zub) and Artiom (G-ruff) (3 rd member Alex H - joined the crew in 2004)started experimenting with different genres of electronic music using any and all software they could find. It was at the beginning of 2004 when MF's tunes first began appearing on various drum and bass CD-compilations.
Childhood and early career The oldest of four siblings, Destra was raised in the community of Desperlie Crescent, Laventille in eastern Port of Spain, Trinidad and attended the St. James Secondary School where she discovered her passion for singing and music. She not only won her school's Calypso Monarch title for five consecutive years, she composed every one of her songs. At the age of 18 she joined a quartet called PSYKE which disbanded after only one year. Following the demise of the group, Destra attended the School of Business and Management earning a diploma in Sales Management.
Having grown up in Bristol Xample has always been surrounded by the sounds of drum and bass and the love of this music lead to him buying his first set of turntables. Soon after, Xample relocated to Liverpool and this is where he first teamed up with the local dj/producers Sol and Futurebound. Xample became a regular at nights around the North West, playing at some of the best nights in Manchester Liverpool and Leeds. Around this time, Xample decided he wanted to try his hand at producing and before to long had notched up releases on labels such as Hard leaders, Penny Black and L plates.
