- Gaelic Proverb Mary Jane Lamond is a sharer of songs, stories and spirit. This sharing has garnered Mary Jane numerous JUNO and East Coast Music award nominations, critical acclaim, and a worldwide audience. Her latest recording, SEINN, is released on September 18. It reflects the great love and respect that Mary Jane and Wendy have for Nova Scotia tradition, and for each other.
Ce groupe, issu de la musique bretonne, est né en 1999 par la rencontre des frères Badeau, François à l’accordéon diatonique, Thomas à la clarinette, et de Vincent Marin à la bombarde et aux saxophones. Aujourd’hui, ils sont quatre, le trio s’est enrichit de percussions avec Pierre Le Normand à la batterie. Animés par le désir d’innover, ils composent entièrement leur répertoire. Leurs influences sont très diverses: musiques traditionnelles, Jazz, musiques improvisées, Rock, musiques électroniques…
