There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Treat is a Swedish hard rock band from Stockholm. Treat had some hits during the latter half of the 80's, "Too Wild", "Get You On The Run", "World Of Promises", "You're The One I Want" and "Ride Me High". In 2005 Treat reunited and released a compilation album with two new songs.

Starship

Starship is an American rock band that operated from 1985 to 1989, reforming in 1992. In 1984, Paul Kantner left Jefferson Starship (San Francisco, California, USA). His former bandmates wanted to continue as Jefferson Starship, but Kantner, as the last founding member of Jefferson Airplane, took legal action over the "Jefferson" name. Kantner settled out of court and signed an agreement that neither party would use the names "Jefferson" or "Airplane" unless all members of Jefferson Airplane, Inc.

Summer 2004: Orange County California Straight Edge Hardcore legends Insted had a three-date east coast romp in the works, and invited long time friend Tim McMahon onto the New Jersey show bill to front whichever of his prior bands he chose (Mouthpiece, Hands Tied, Face The Enemy). Any of your bands, we want you on the show singing they told him. Quite a nice thing to hear for McMahon, who had caught Insted in his teenage years in '89 and '91 and no doubt had fond memories, especially those of Mouthpiece opening for the O.

Shooting Star

Shooting Star is a rock band from Kansas City. They were formed in the late seventies. After quickly gaining enormous popularity in the Kansas City area, Shooting Star became the first American group to be signed with Virgin Records. They recorded their 1979 debut album in England with legendary producer Gus Dudgeon, best known for his work with Elton John and David Bowie. The band gained national exposure when a number of songs garnered moderate air-play on Album-oriented rock radio stations in the US.

Tyketto

Tyketto were an American heavy rock band of the 1990s who never achieved the success they felt they deserved. The group was put together in 1987 by former Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn. Brooke St James (Guitar), Jimi Kennedy (Bass) and Micheal Clayton (Drums) completed the lineup. By 1990 the band had signed to Geffen Records, and released their debut album "Don't Come Easy". Musically, it was somewhere between Whitesnake and Bon Jovi, with Tyketto opening for the former on many bills. However, the rise of the 'grunge' sound in 1991 saw Tyketto's hopes of the big breakthrough begin to recede.

In 2003 Danny Vaughn played the part of Lancelot on Gary Hughes's rock opera Once and Future King Part I. The latest line up of Danny's backing band consists of guitarist Tony Marshall ( contagious ), Pat Heath ( Brave New World ), Steve McKenna ( Ten ) and Lee Morris ( Paradise Lost ).
