Tom Piper
Oxia
Oxia should be no stranger to techno fans. Behind his fancy pseudonym we find one Olivier Raymond from Grenoble, France. Deejaying from the tender age of 15, Oxia has been consistently churning out productions under several guises - with Stephane Deschezeaux or the Hacker with whom he runs the Goodlife label.

Pickering was a member of factory records dance act Quando Quango, but became more noted as one of the original DJs at The hacienda. Heard was a member of acid jazz band Ace Of Clubs. Heather Small was in the British Soul band Hot House who had released a number of critically acclaimed records without scoring any major success.
Bassnectar
Bassnectar on his history, posted via bassnectar.net A quick run down of my musical life:
When I was in junior high I began discovering music that struck me, as opposed to music that felt familiar (like my parent’s music). This was mostly Metallica (the first song I heard of theirs was “Enter Sandman”, so this was after they had already become “mainstream” and blown up), NWA (which I memorized completely verbatim)...

Daniel Portman
Daniel Portman was born and raised in the suburbs of Zurich, Switzerland. He fell in love with electronic music at a very young age. It was the late 90s, with all its ups and downs, when young Daniel started to test his musical abilities on an Akai2000 sampler and an old sequencer.
After a long ride of experimenting, he ended up with a bunch of tracks. Daniel went back to his small bedroom studio, made another bunch of tracks and along the way he stumbled into the porn industry.
Sam Tiba
Born and raised in Roubaix, Northern France, 24 year-old Sam Tiba has been producing cubist grooves just for a couple of years, but got deep into music of all kinds more than a decade ago. Well before the early days of his Club Cheval crew, Sam was pretty much unaware of club sounds : his first loves, both as a DJ and as a listener, were French classic rap, roots and dancehall reggae, and then dubstep a little later.
Soul Avengerz
Paul Gardner and Wayne OConnell are no newcomers to the industry, being an integral part of the London house scene for over a decade now. But it is only recently that the guys have garnered the long overdue, and much deserved, worldwide recognition they have been striving for. In todays climate most artists carve out a production profile before proving themselves as DJ’s. It is this that often leads to most artists productions being more dance floor orientated the more experienced they become, as they gain that all important first hand knowledge of what it takes to rock a packed dance floor.
