Number 9

Stefan Bruinsma (17-08-1982), a.k.a. Number 9, was born and raised in the north of the Netherlands in a city called Groningen. At the age of 9 he discovered music was his passion, and he took his first piano lessons shortly followed by his first guitar lessons. After developing as a musician he encountered people that shared his vision on making music and performing on stage. At the age of 18 he chose the Rockacademy in Tilburg to develop as an artist and entrepreneur in the music industry. Up till now his life resulted in the following music projects:

Hint is the name of three distinct projects:
1) Hint (UK): Ninja Tune sound
2) Hint (France): Noise band
3) HINT (Taiwan): Electronic funk, classical, hip-hop, lounge 1) Hint (UK)
Hint (Jonathan James, Sussex, UK) is an Excellent Jazzy DJ with down tempo beats and grooves contrasted against future-dance floor bombs.
His first singles and the debut album, Portakabin Fever, was released on by Bristol-based independent record label Hombré Recordings, in association with Ninja Tune.

Seaming To

Seaming, sometimes credited as simply Seaming To, is an British-born Chinese singer-songwriter, keyboardist and clarinettist based in Manchester. She is a member of the Homelife and Toolshed collectives, the Lotus Pedals and the duo Mayming (with cellist Semay Wu) and has been a guest vocalist for The Herbaliser (“PlaySomething Wicked”), Mr. Scruff (“PlayBeyond” and “PlayValley of the Sausages”), Leila (“The Exotics”), Funckarma (“Kinnex” and “Ketayseam”) Robert Wyatt ("Stay Tuned") and, in live performances, Matthew Bourne.

Emika

Emika was born in the UK, of Czech heritage. As a young woman she studied classical piano and composition. She waitressed to save up for her first Apple Mac and copy of Logic. She was living in Bristol as the city transitioned from d&b to dubstep and she went to the first parties organised by Pinch. “I continue to be a part of this culture which has spread worldwide now.” She now lives in Berlin, where she works as a sound designer for Native Instruments.

Silverman

Not to be confused with The Silverman, one of the founding members of The Legendary Pink Dots Silverman's debut release "Speed of Life Part Two" was released in 2002 to critical acclaim. Caustic, cruel duet "Ctrl Alt Del" will remind you of Jane Gainsbourg and Serge Birkin, or Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue, with music courtesy of, perhaps, Massive Attack. "Can I have my heart back, please?" has you thinking of a tormented Cocteau Twins, with broken Anna's sad request buried beneath a wave of brutal electro-noise.

Goribor

Goribor is a alternative rock band from Bor, Serbia (ex Yugoslavia). Having performed as a teenage band called Projekat from 1988 until 1992, after a four-year hiatus, the band was reformed in 1996 by the founding members, the vocalist Aleksandar Stojković St and guitarist Željko Ljubić Pity with the guitarist Predrag Marković Peđa. Until 2003 they had been making home-made demo recordings eventually released through the Croatian independent record label Slušaj Najglasnije!, after being discovered by the head of the label Zdenko Franjić.
