Klaus Kinski

Klaus Kinski (October 18, 1926–November 23, 1991) was a German actor of Polish descent, in the second half of the 20th century. He was notorious for his explosive temperament. After World War II, he began acting and changed his name to Klaus Kinski. He started on stage in Germany, became a legend as a monologist (presenting the prose and verse of William Shakespeare and Francois Villon, among others), and soon moved, pragmatically, to film, where the money was better.

Adam Buxton

Adam Offord Buxton (born June 7, 1969) is a British comedian, who together with his comedy partner Joe Cornish wrote and presented the Channel 4 comedy series The Adam and Joe Show. He also makes an appearance in "The IT Crowd" episode 1.5. His father is Nigel Buxton, the travel writer and wine critic. He originally appeared in an episode of Channel 4's "Takeover TV" as a man called "Louise" dressed as a Klingon, complaining about ST:TNG being taken off screen. www.jaywalkers.co.uk/ Jaywalkers are Michael Giverin and Jay Bradberry. They play an addictive mix of equal parts folk and bluegrass. Originating from the Bluegrass hotbed of Helsby, just outside of Chester they began playing together at the weekly jam sessions at the local ex-Servicemen's club.

In 2008 they formed a duo and subsequently reached the finals of the 2009 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award.

Sleepers

There are at least 6 bands / projects named Sleepers: 1. Sleepers is the recording and performance project of Silas Ciarán and Amanda Boutourline. It began as a solo outlet for Ciarán in early 2004, and was at this time geared towards Black and Doom Metal with flecks of ambient. It is now a full fledged crossover project, incorporating many different sources into one heap of sound. 2. Sleepers was a progressive new wave rock band from Gold Coast, Australia. They have changed their name to Awaken I Am.

Mr. Lif

Mr. Lif (born Jeffrey Haynes) is a Boston rapper who is currently signed to New York independent label Definitive Jux. Besides his solo career, Lif is also a member of the hip hop group The Perceptionists with long-time friends and collaborators Akrobatik and DJ Fakts One. Mr. Lif grew up in the neighbourhood of Brighton in Boston, MA. For two years he attended Colgate University, dropping out after becoming enamored with the hip hop music being produced at the time.

John Cooper Clarke

John Cooper Clarke (born January 25, 1949) is a performance poet from Salford, Greater Manchester , England, affectionately known as the Bard of Salford. He is often referred to as a punk poet, having initially achieved recognition in the late 1970s amidst the flourishing punk movement. His recorded output has mainly centred around musical backing The Invisible Girls, featuring Martin Hannett, Pete Shelley, Bill Nelson and Steve Hopkins. The song "Evidently Chickentown" became known to a wide audience through its use in the final season of the TV show The Sopranos

George Pringle

Oxford-based George Pringle began writing music when she was 16. She pinched her older brother’s guitar and taught herself bar chords. Her brother ditched the guitar to become a DJ. “I don’t see the point of making music when I’m not doing anything new and other people can do it so much better than me. I enjoy listening to them far more,” he said. George began recording demos on a broken two-deck Karaoke machine at home during the school holidays.
