Trevor Horn

Trevor Charles Horn, born July 15, 1949 in , , is a British pop music producer, songwriter and musician. He has produced commercially successful songs and albums for numerous British and international artists, as well as having chart success with his own bands the Buggles, Yes and Art of Noise. He also owns a recording company, Records, a recording studio (Sarm Studio) and a music publishing company, Perfect Songs.

Kate Jackson

Kate Jackson is a British singer formerly the lead-singer with The Long Blondes. She has been described in the NME as having the "arrogant strut of Chrissie Hynde and the acidic tongue of a Dickens heroine." When tragedy struck Long Blondes guitarist and the main songwriter Dorian Cox in the form of a stroke in 2008, it spelt the end of the band. That November Kate announced she was to go solo and is currently working with ex-Suede guitarist Bernard Butler on solo material for release in 2009.

Benny Goodman

Benny Goodman, born Benjamin David Goodman, (May 30, 1909 – June 13, 1986) was an American musician, known as King of Swing, Patriarch of the Clarinet, The Professor, and Swing's Senior Statesman. Goodman was regarded by some as a demanding taskmaster, by others an arrogant and eccentric martinet. Many musicians spoke of The Ray, Goodman's trademark glare that he bestowed on a musician who failed to perform to his demanding standards.
